Pathfinder 50D ECN-2 Color Negative Film (35mm Roll Film, 36 Exposures)
Pathfinder 50D is genuine Kodak VISION3 50D (5203) motion picture film, hand-respooled by Todays Pursuit into 36 exposure 35mm cassettes for still cameras. This daylight-balanced ISO 50 stock is one of the finest-grained color negative films available.
It's ideal for bright outdoor light, landscapes and portraits where you want maximum detail and clean, cinematic color, with the wide latitude that makes VISION3 so forgiving.
Processing: this is an ECN-2 film with the traditional remjet backing, so it can't go through a standard C-41 run. Old School Photo Lab develops it in house*, so you can shoot it and send it straight back to us. Looking for a 50D without remjet? Try Pathfinder 50D "Sight 3" AHU, which any lab can develop in standard C-41.
Note: These rolls are not DX coded. Set ISO 50 manually on your camera. On point-and-shoot cameras that default to ISO 100 with non-DX rolls, use the exposure compensation dial.
Todays Pursuit is a New Hampshire company.
Compare every stock in the Pathfinder Film collection. When the roll's done, send it back to us for developing and scans.
*We remove the remjet and cross-process ECN-2 film in our own custom C-41 process, which yields results nearly identical to traditional ECN-2 development.
